Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Trying it out is free: all templates, no sign-up. To get a link you can send, you unlock the template once for €1.99. Or take the 10-pack for €9.99 and pick 10 templates of your choice. There is no subscription.
How long does a link work?
Each link is valid for 7 days. After that, just create a new one for your unlocked template, for free. Under “My links & purchases” (top right) or with your private link, you can also end a link early.
Can I ask my own question?
Yes, if you want to. Every template already comes with a ready-made question and answer. You can leave them as they are, or add your own question and a matching answer under “Customise”.
Which languages is Yippidi available in?
In German, English, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Turkish. The question arrives in whichever language you create the link in.
Will the other person know it’s a joke?
Yes. At the end they see a celebration animation and a note that the question was made with Yippidi. It works best with people who know your sense of humour.
Do you store my question or the names?
No. The question, answer and names are only contained in the link itself, in the part after the #. That part is not sent to our server. We only keep how long a link is valid and whether it was ended.
What if someone really means no?
Then it’s a no. Yippidi is for people who like each other and can take a joke. For serious questions, please ask in person and respect the answer.
Can I put Yippidi on my phone like an app?
Yes. Open the site in your browser and choose “Add to Home Screen” from the menu. Yippidi will then open like an app.
